Wednesday, March 14, 2012 • 6:00 p.m.

JOIN THE SECONDLINE PARADE!

Join hundreds of your ERA colleagues as we follow a time-tested New Orleans tradition of dancing and parading through the streets of New Orleans with floats and marching bands, en route to our opening night party… Generations Celebration!

REMEMBER! Wear your Generations Celebration outfit — in celebration of ERA Real Estate’s 40th anniversary, dress as your favorite decade: 70s, 80s, 90s or today.

If you’re not participating in the parade, please make your way to Generations Celebration with complimentary shuttles leaving from the front entrance of the Marriott on Canal Street beginning at 6:40 p.m.

Pre-Order Parade Parasols and Hankies:

Get your parade gear – you’ll need a parasol to twirl and hanky to swing! Proceeds from your purchase will go directly to MDA to fund research, support services and hope for the many people affected by this range of diseases.

Pick up your pre-ordered parade gear at Parade Headquarters (Preservation Hall Foyer, 2nd floor). Please note that any purchases made on-site will be cash only.

CONGRATULATIONS TO BANNER CONTEST WINNER… ERA SHIELDS REAL ESTATE!

Join hundreds of your ERA colleagues as we follow a time-tested New Orleans tradition of dancing and parading through the streets of New Orleans.

With a total of 624 Facebook “likes,” ERA Shields Real Estate has won the coveted position of leading Team ERA from the Marriott New Orleans to the Opening Night Celebration, Generations Celebration, at Generations Hall.

About the design:

We spoke to Eric Estrada at ERA Shields about how the banner design evolved: “When designing our banner we wanted to focus on the importance of TEAM and how together we can ‘Build a Stronger Community.’ We incorporated several community volunteer images on the banner to display our outstanding TEAM efforts in 2011, which collectively totaled over 3,000 volunteer hours and over 50 organizations. We also incorporated the MDA muscle theme, ‘Strong Arm’ to reflect our STRONG MDA efforts throughout the year!”
